SMS your queries to IGNOU

As mentioned in my first post, now it is possible to SMS your queries to IGNOU. There is no need to access Internet and send e-mail to IGNOU. There is no need to keep on periodically logging to your e-mail account to check whether you received response to your query. SMS your query to IGNOU and also receive response by SMS. 


Prefix your query with IGNOU followed by a space followed by query. SMS it to 9223051616. You will receive acknowledgement immediately. In due course, you will receive response by SMS. 


The following is an example:

    I am s.s.venkateshwar studing BA second year from IGNOU Portblair Andaman--The study material paper provided to us is not of good quality , I have to keep the study materials for long years as refrence books, so it will be good if university use good quality papers books with proper binding.Keeping the view of remotest part Andaman all the study materials have to be despatched as early as possible.     Dear sir/ma'am

    I am Dipti Madan, pursuing masters in tourism management from IGNOU. I registered for this program on 25th July, 2011. My enrollment no is 116587618.

    I have not got any information in any form regarding identity card, study material and date of submission of assignments. I visited regional center of IGNOU, Rajghat yesterday to inquire about the same and came to know that last date of submission of assignments is 30th September, 2011.

    In the regional center, concerned person regarding study material said they do not have the material now, it will come next week and then it can be delivered to me. He also mentioned that one month for assignment submission is given after the study material is issued to the candidate.

    Is this information given to me right?????????

    He gave me the material of second semester which is irrelevant for me.

    Sir, this is the mere negligence of the staff of the university. It is completely the fault of the university management.
    How will a candidate will come to know about such information?????
    University did not gave any information about all such things ever in any form.
    Had I not visited the center then I would not have ever come to know about all these things and I would have suffered in my exams and marks.

    I do not have the study material as well as assignments now and last date of submission of assignments is 30th, September. How can I submit the assignments then???
    Kindly, give me solution to this problem.

    I'm a foreigner who studied BCA and graduated form Bangalore University in 2008 and after many difficulties I've received my Marks Cards and Certificate... but in my 6th Sem. Marks Card there are only marks and sub total of the corresponding semester and not the total of the previous semesters... is this ok ? if yes, then how can I find my GPA ? is there any difference between Marks Card and Grade Card ?

    This is Jasmine Lepcha, enrollment No:105059703, BDP 2nd year. Till now my Assignment marks are not been added in my Grade Card on the subject of EHI 03,EHI 04, EHI 07,FST 01.     I am Rajeev Sharma. I have just completed my BCA programme. When I got my result the marks of cs-05,cs-74,cs-75 were not satisfactory for me and so I applied for photostat copy of answer sheet for the same. When I got the photostat copies I was sure that my marks will be improved after revaluation. But today I got the revoluation result and was astonished to see the marks are less than previous...Now I have no idea what can i do! So please suggest me in this regurd...Thanks

    I had given Openmat exam XXXII for MBA held on 26th Aug. 2012, and its results was declared but i am not satisfy with this result that its declared me as not qualified. However my exam was good and in other negative exams i scored nice and how its possible in this evenif there is no negative marking.
    Now what is the other option for taking admisssion in the First session i.e. Jan. 2012 ??? or i have to gving it second time in Feb. 2012???

    If I have given tte exam on june 2014 for B.A COURSE FOR FIRST YEAR , till now my marks should be updated but whenever I check my marks from ignou site it is always shown incomplete amd I have also submitted my all assignments of all subjects before the tte exam but till now its is still shown incomplete in my results .

    And if in my grade card one subjects assignment is hown incomplete then should I submit that assignment again and if yes then when I have to submit that assignment and one more qs : if in my grade card it is shown one subject assignment is incomplete , then am I passed or failed in my exams and can I submit assignments for B.A. second year and can I give exams for my second year or not ?????

    I applied for Term end june16 exam. I have submitted form online on 08 2016 and payment has dedeucted from my account. But i didn't get any acknowledgement number or control number, even no email regarding this.. So pls tell me my form has been submitted or not in ignou for the june exam. All people are complaining the same thing..DO provide the information or refund our money back..
